PRINCE GEORGE, BC: The Canadian Taxpayers Federation (CTF) presented Prince George resident Irvin Leroux with its highest honour, the prestigious TaxFighter Award, today. Leroux’s two-decade legal battle with the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) secured a landmark ruling that said CRA owes all taxpayers a “duty of care,” meaning if CRA abuses taxpayers, it can be held liable for damages.
The TaxFighter Award is given out to Canadians who have made a significant contribution to the cause of taxpayer emancipation.
