A year-and-a-half ago, in February, 2018, I wrote a column entitled, The 51st State: Denial, in which I discussed a number of serious problem areas and issues. People seemed to have trouble grasping the depth of the problems or who was causing them, and why. I suggested that this was denial: Denial is a psychological condition where the person or persons suffering from it refuse to acknowledge that a problem or reality exists. Not much has changed since then, except that the problems have gotten worse and new ones have arisen. And while more of We, the People, have regained sanity, denial still reigns virtually unchallenged in Washington, D.C.The Comment section of online publications is the new front in the ongoing Cancel Culture Battle.
Big Tech and Big Media are gunning for the Conservative Voice—through their Comment Sections.
