If all that unites us is our differences, then we’re deeply divided
Moving to Canada is like moving from a single family home into a condo.
It becomes necessary to winnow down our belongings, abandon next-door neighbours and adapt to communal living with people of differing points of view, religions and ethnic backgrounds.
One no longer gets to unilaterally call all the shots.
