The Energy Information Administration (EIA) recently released a new report on drilling productivity that provides estimated changes in oil and gas production for six key oil and natural gas fields depicted.(i) These six regions accounted for almost 90 percent of domestic oil production growth and almost all domestic natural gas production growth between 2011 and 2012.
