Failure Has Gone to His Head

Failure Has Gone to His Head
If you listen to President Biden and his spokespeople, you'd think that he was presiding over the greatest economy known to man, but upon learning the facts, his policies have been nothing but a failure, and getting worse. It seems, upon closer examination, what should be up is down, and what should be down is up, but Biden continues to proclaim success when he should be proclaiming failure.

You can't call it a recession until Joe says it is. Remember he said "Truth over Facts". How many years in the future will we be ignoring the facts. The housing industry is dead. Big AG is in a death spiral. When corporate farmers can't get fertilizers they are limited to what they can plant. When corporate farmers see interest costs rise to levels not seen in decades a second nail is driven into the coffin. Droughts don't produce crops, feed, or animals. The heart of meat production and grain production is in a severe drought conditions. When you raise the cost of diesel you impact farmers. When John Deere controls you maintenance due to software farmers have added expenses.
Chickens slaughtered by the tens of millions. Foster Farms sells out because of feed shortages and railroad issues.
Millions out the workforce. An adjustment to December on employment was -1,000,000. Cooking the numbers. Labor shortages caused by covid lockdowns continues.
Inventories are very high caused by covid, the ports and transportation issues.
The Government wants you to believe sales were only down during the Holiday season by a little over 1%. What they didn't tell anyone this was quoted in $$$$ sales that was unadjusted for inflation. The real issue here is fewer items/units sold as there costs were inflated. This adds to the inventory issue above. There is information that food inventories are presently building due to inflation. If a warehouse has to store food as the demand is reduced due to costs the products will be put on sales eventually or landfilled. Both would be a quick fix, but short term as future prices would have to compensate for losses.
Keep an eye on fast food outlets and restaurants. Labor shortages, higher wage costs w/ higher Social Security/Medicare/Workman's Comp etc. Plus costs of food products. The largest cattle producing state is Texas and they have been selling off herds for months due to the drought. You don't build back a herd in a year or two. Will the average person pay a lot more for a burger?
I know people who are optimistic about the short term future. I hope this isn't contagious.
