A federal appeals court upheld a law Friday that would ban TikTok in the U.S. starting Jan. 19, 2025, prompting TikTok to take the case to the Supreme Court.
The controversy centers on an act President Joe Biden signed in April 2024 that promised to ban the app unless it was sold to an American buyer, citing national security concerns in regard to data protection. -- More...
