This is one of those things where - maybe because I've never been in the military - I don't see the big deal. I guess the reason you're not supposed to have facial hair or where things like turbans is that they're trying to eliminate the distinctions between soldiers, so you identify as a member of the Army and not as you as an individual.Welcome to CFP’s Comment Section!
