Unfortunately the catholic church is a manmade religion that does not preach the gospel as taught by the apostles and Jesus. It favors the traditions of men over the pure word of God. Rev 17 outlines the characteristics of that false religion and verse 5 names her, "Mystery, Babylon the Great, Mother of Harlots and Abominations of the Earth." No other entity on the planet even comes close to fulfi8lling the specifics outlined in Revelation 17&18;.
