LYNCHBURG, Va., Jonathan Falwell, Senior Pastor of Thomas Road Baptist Church and the Chairman of Gleaning For The World, responded to the victims of the April tornadoes that killed hundreds of people and destroyed thousands of homes and businesses throughout the South. Through the Gleaning For The World humanitarian organization (Concord, VA) and its Faith Aid Network of 50 distribution sites, more than 40 tractor-trailers loaded with critical supplies were sent to the region during the month.
"More than 1.4 million pounds of supplies were delivered to the victims of the April storms," stated Jonathan Falwell. "Our team did an excellent job coordinating with other nonprofits and local churches in the region to quickly distribute the supplies to those who needed them most."
