WASHINGTON, Leaders of the National Black Pro-Life Coalition are outraged and horrified that women could be treated by Kermit Gosnell for over a decade without government oversight and accountability in Pennsylvania. A recent grand jury investigation shows that state health care officials did not act on reports of botched abortions, involuntary sterilizations and deplorable facilities run by Gosnell for low-income women, mostly minorities.
