A couple of months ago, actor-turned-podcaster Russell Brand became the target of a multinational censorship operation designed to completely shut him down.
The reason for this is obvious: many of Brand's views on our most non-trivial issues diverge sharply from those of Western governments, and his ability to express those views posed a risk to their grasp on power. So they tried to silence him.
