The famous phrase “we have nothing to fear but fear itself” means that the primary obstacle to overcoming challenges is not the perceived hardships themselves, but the fear of those challenges. It says that the debilitating emotion called fear can mindlessly paralyze action and prevent positive responses, while in reality, there's often nothing to fear that can't be addressed with courage and determination.
