Attorney General Jeff Sessions announced on Thursday that the Department of Justice reached a settlement with the conservative groups that were illegally targeted by the IRS under the Obama administration.
Along with a large payout to some 400 groups that were in the lawsuit, the Tea Party groups who were denied or delayed tax-exempt status have been promised an apology from the IRS for targeting them “based solely on their viewpoint or ideology” under the watchful eye of Lois Lerner.Welcome to CFP’s Comment Section!
