Remember Obama's forgettable Sunday night address about how he's already doing all the right things to ISIS and we should all stop hating on Muslims? Yeah, I know, it was hard to get through. But if you did, one thing you might recall that had the appearance of substance was his mention of the Visa Waiver Program, which he said was being tightened up so it wouldn't be so easy for people coming through terror-connected countries to enter the U.S. with just a passport.
One of the countries affected by the change, for what I'd think would be obvious reasons, was Iran. It was not an all-out travel ban on people coming from Iran, but raather the removal of a shortcut that was making it far too easy for people coming from Iran to bypass the usual visa process.The Comment section of online publications is the new front in the ongoing Cancel Culture Battle.
