An Illinois judge Friday ordered local teen Kyle Rittenhouse – who is charged in the shooting deaths of two protesters in Kenosha, Wisc. – to be extradited across the border to stand trial on homicide charges.
Lake County Circuit Court Paul Novak denied the 17-year-old suspect’s request for release and ruled that his claims of self-defense in connection with the Aug. 25 incident must be raised in a Wisconsin court.-- More...
