Here’s the problem. When those in authority fail to act, they are giving tacit approval to any activity legal or illegal. In 2020, governments at all levels failed to uphold law and order throughout America. In far too many evil Marxist Democrat jurisdictions nationwide, the rule of law was dismantled even prior to 2020.
Defund the police movements and the propensity of governments to condemn police actions before any impartial investigation is conducted, have merged to result in police non-intervention in the face of clearly illegal activities that are taking place. Understaffed police departments and police officers concerned about their career and a secure future for their families result in a reduction of effective policing for the general population. The Comment section of online publications is the new front in the ongoing Cancel Culture Battle.
