Andrew McCabe is going to be fired by the FBI, and he should. He violated ethical standards by leaking sensitive information that created the false impression he was taking the investigation into the Clinton Foundation seriously. He wasn't. He was spiking it just like the Hillary e-mail investigation was being spiked.
The FBI's Office of Professional Responsibility has recommended that McCabe be fired for this, and there's no question Attorney General Jeff Sessions will follow that recommendattion. The question is whether he'll do so by Sunday, which would save the government a boatload of money, but also prompted much of the Beltway crowd and the chattering classes to scream that Sessions and Donald Trump are being mean and vindictive:The Comment section of online publications is the new front in the ongoing Cancel Culture Battle.
