Many CFP readers may not be familiar with a former radio talk show host in the San Francisco Bay Area named Michael Savage. From 1994 to 2020, his nationally syndicated radio show called “The Savage Nation” ran Monday through Friday on 400 stations and was the second most listened to radio talk show in America in 2009. With an audience of over 20 million listeners at the show’s peak, Savage garnered a loyal following. However, like his contemporary Rush Limbaugh, his listeners either loved him or hated him.
