Over the last few months, the San Jose State volleyball team has been in the news for all the wrong reasons. Brayden Fleming, a biological male who now calls himself Blaire, is the reason for the chaos. As the season has moved on, teams are realizing they are putting themselves in harm's way by allowing the women on their teams to face off against a man. This has resulted in four opposing programs forfeiting their matches against the Spartans amid the ongoing controversy. Southern Utah, Boise State, Wyoming, and Utah State officially told San Jose State, thanks, but no thanks, the risk isn’t worth it.
