Plus ça change, plus c'est la même chose
Yes, our climate is changing, just as it has for the last century, the last millennium, and the last several million years, for that matter.
A thousand years ago, we had the medieval warm period, when Greenland was warm and green and Erik the Red founded a settlement there. Two thousand years ago was the Roman warm period, when temperatures were around two degrees C warmer than today. Just about 11,000 years ago, the last ice age wrapped up. Research has shown eleven interglacial periods in the last 800,000 years—warm periods between cold periods. All of this was happening long before humans started using fossil fuels.
