Canada is a democracy, which means Members of Parliament have been elected for the purpose of doing or acting in the ways that the people they "represent" have told them to. In other words they govern with the consent of people.
So...what happens when the electorate no longer give their consent the government's new rules and laws? And...what happens when the "government" outright refuses to acknowledge that the people they "represent" no longer agree with those actions and have dissented?
What is happening now in our once beloved country is the result of electing people, especially a Prime Minister, who has never lived a day, not even an hour, in his life that is any reflection of how the average Canadian lives !
