If you watched last night's debate, you saw something you've probably never seen before. No, not an unhinged Democrat that wouldn't pipe down. We see that all the time. What you saw were two candidates who both have sons serving in the United States Marine Corps.
In terms of policy decisions, I think that's a great thing. It brings the high cost of military intervention home in a way that little else will. However, in terms of the debate, it may not have worked out so well for Tim Kaine.
