Despite what you may have read in the press or watched on CNN, Donald Trump's spat with London Mayor Sadiq Khan didn't begin with a tweet after last week's terror attack. That didn't help, but the whole thing really started over a year ago - when Khan was running around telling everyone that Trump was ignorant, and that he hoped Trump would lose the election. This all stemmed from Trump's proposed travel ban, as USA Today wrote last May:
On Monday, Trump appeared on Good Morning Britain where he talked about criticism he’s received from Sadiq Khan, who was recently elected London’s first Muslim mayor and has frequently criticized Trump. “He’s been quite critical of you as you know. He’s attacked you for being ignorant,” Piers Morgan said to Trump.
