Police investigating after drone came within 80ft of COLLIDING with a passenger plane
Near-miss happened as aircraft came in to Winnipeg International Airport
A drone was flown just 80ft away from a passenger plane as it came in to land, a police investigation has revealed.
The near-miss happened as the aircraft made its descent at Winnipeg International Airport, Canada.
Staff at Nav Canada, who operate the country's civil air navigation service, reported the incident to police after the pilots relayed what they had seen.
