“Predominantly white” media portrays Beck rally as “predominantly white”

Is "predominantly white" now a perjorative or a criminal descriptive" When I was an Army Foreign Area Officer in Berlin during the 80s, one of my tasks was to read and report on East German News and Headlines. The Government controlled the media. The media were willing aiders and abettors to the cause of Communism. If they were not, they did not exist. So: Every paper, every trade magazine, every party bulletin, every pamphlet would echo what was called "the Party Line."
