Hillary Clinton's reset button with Russia didn't work when she was Secretary of State. It made the U.S. look weak, and the Russians (now the Democrats’ favorite boogeyman) just continued to do what they were going to do anyway. President Trump and his administration have reset the US economy without a phony button. They did it by presenting themselves as a business-friendly administration - reversing the hostile tone coming from the White House and issuing pro-business Executive Orders to federal agencies. They’ve incentivized the idea that businesses should keep jobs here in the US, rolled back unjustifiable regulations, frozen federal hiring to slow the growth of the D.C. bureaucracy, generated incredible stock market optimism, and focused on border security. It’s all part of a long list of positive actions which have had a beneficial ripple effect on the US economy.
