Reflecting on the Imminent Dangers to the Republic on Constitution DayToday is Constitution Day, and if one considers what has happened in the United States since the beginning of the new millennium, it is amazing that the U.S.Constitution still stands. America has been attacked by foreign and domestic enemies again and again. Just last week, Americans remembered the anniversary of the 9/11 tragedies and commemorated Patriot Day to honor those brave men and women who risked their lives for the sake of others on September 11, 2001. And since Americans annually celebrate the anniversary of the signing of the Constitution on September 17th, these two days are forever entwined on the calendar. But there is a deeper significance that binds these two days of remembrance.
