On March 7, 2023, when Senator John Kennedy (R) Louisiana, recommended raising the United States debt limit again, that announced the death rattle of the Republican Party. Actions speak louder than words. Senator Kennedy speaks of his good intentions to change the trajectory of federal spending, as have many before him. The road to hell is paved with good intentions. Those before him didn’t get spending under control, and there is absolutely no reason to think he will be able to do any better. I fear financial hell is on the horizon for America.

So very disappointed in Senator John Kennedy from Louisiana. He gives some nice, folksy one-liners but by his actions is just another uniparty sell-out. He was re-elected in 2022 and must want to ride the road to a cushy retirement for the next 6 years. Can't vote for or against him, I don't live in Louisiana, but disappointed I forgot my own advice for awhile - Watch what they DO, not what they SAY they will do...

Kennedy ran promising to his constituents that “come hell or high water — your values will be my values, and I will never be silent — never — when the nut jobs tell me to sit down and shut up.”

What a beautifully written but tragic tale. We are facing some serious times ahead but we can’t give up! Thank you for all you do and also to Judi and Canada Free Press. This publication has been a beacon of light for a long time and by God’s grace, will continue to do so.
