What I'm not sure of is why we're only hearing about this now. It seems to me that as much heat as the Bush Administration took for the Iraq invasion, they would have told us about this at the time. Maybe they were concerned that it would look bad to have something like this going on right under their noses, even though they were the ones who ultimately put a stop to it.
