Survival in Tough Times

So Here We Are...

So Here We Are..So we wake up in the morning, sit up, swing a leg over the side and begin the day. We have some breakfast and the morning cup of tea. Okay, okay. Some of you still drink coffee. The first thing we do is look at the daily situation report followed by the daily question.  So here we are. What do we do next? Lists - I am at that age where I think of something while I am in the bathroom, get out to the paper and pen in the kitchen, and I can't remember why I am even in the kitchen - let alone staring at the coffee pot. I mean list.
After Friday evening, I have a list of calls I need to make on Monday. Don't forget! I do write that on a sticky note. On Tuesday evening, after hours, I see my note. I KNEW there was someone I needed to call! I should add "Make Calls To:" on my list in the kitchen. Then I might see it while there are still office hours. Being retired, my office hours are "when I get around to it" which means after hours for everyone else. I haven't used a list in a long time, but it needs to be reinstated here. My life is seems to be ambling from project to project without important things being done. Too much time in front of the TV thinking about what I need to do. It is tiring and useless. Get a grip and grab a pen!
