A lot of people thought a surprising twist had occurred last week when, following FBI Director James Comey's decision to let Hillary off the hook for criminal gross negligence, it was announced the State Department was re-opening its probe of her e-mail fiasco. This was not surprising and it was not a twist. And it is not going to change a thing.
The State Department's review was a joke from the beginning, and it was only paused at the FBI's insistence because State was making it impossible for the FBI to do its job. Now it's simply going to put its own official stamp on the whitewash everyone else is perpetrating:
