As a parent, hell as a human being, most people would agree that sex trafficking of anyone, no matter what their age, should be a felony. However, one state can’t stand the idea of punishing those involved to the fullest extent of the law. In my opinion, the law as presented wasn’t strong enough, but to the liberals Democrats in this state, it needed to be weakened even further.
Let's first focus on the bill itself before discussing the parties involved or the state. At present, in this state, buying or soliciting a child for sex is considered a misdemeanor punishable by a maximum of one year in jail or a minimum of two days in jail, as well as a fine of up to $10,000. The punishment for an unimaginable crime cannot be this ridiculous.

The most shocking thing is that purchasing children for sex is not a felony already. Democrats are standing in the way of making this crime a felony? Democrats are the party of perverts.

Some states, prostitution is allowed, BUT you need a license, ie the govt wants their cut of the action.
Some states, the age of consent is 16, NOT 18.
If prostitution is illegal then THAT should be the crime if the person IS of age of consent. So tired of the old tripe, oh the innocent children!!! 17 YO are barely children anymore and sure are not innocent anymore. Stop with the theatrics.

It's already a felony to purchase any people for any reason.
