Mekhi James, a 3-year-old boy, cried, "It hurts", after he was shot in Chicago.
Then he died.
Sincere Gaston, a 1-year-old boy, was also shot and killed in Chicago. A 3-year-old girl was shot in the chest while playing in the front yard with other children. She was among the four toddlers shot in Chicago in two weeks. Older children are also being shot.
