There are times when a parable or a fable serves better to illustrate a point than pure logic. In North America and even the world, we are giving far too much attention to issues that are scientifically demonstrable as false. Trying to use science and logic to convince the true believers of the error of their ways will likely never be productive. This simple fable illustrates the problem quite well.
