HISTORY LESSONS FOR MR. PUTIN

The threat of a Russian invasion of Ukraine needs to be seen in the historical perspective

The history books of Russia that Vladimir Putin read when he was growing up in the 60s did not admit to the fact that following the 1939 Soviet invasion of Poland, Josef Stalin ordered the massacre of nearly 22,000 Polish military officers and intelligentsia in the Katyn Forest. Some Russian historians believe Stalin ordered the mass murder as an act of revenge for the defeat of the Soviets during the Polish-Soviet War when they attempted to annex newly re-created Poland between 1918 and 1921. It would not be until fifty years after the 1940 massacre that Mikhail Gorbachev admitted that the NKVD, the Soviet Secret police, had executed the Poles.

Thank you again another great article. I think I have read about the, the terrible 22,000 murdered when I was young and they used to teach history. but I do not remember reading about the 18,000 Calvary that saved Vienna so a good reminder and learned something new. Wish real history was more available and truthfully taught in schools as there are so many things that are useful to today's problems if we just had a good baseline and people who were taught to really think and understand and read more truth.

As we are seeing and has been said before, history is written and rewritten for, by the winners, insurgents, over throwers of countries as we are seeing in our own countries with the globalist, mega rich, one world order, UN etc. of our own countries.

Brilliant and extraordinary analysis of how we are reliving history. We wish that world leaders would take the time to learn from grave mistakes of the past rather than repeat them and devastate innocent lives in the process. It makes us wonder what happened to leaders making decisions for the benefit of their people rather than to advance their own power. Great work, Gene! Hope to see more of your excellent articles on Canada Free Press.

Remember Reagan's phenomenal 76 Convention speech.
"...
And suddenly it dawned on me: Those who would read this letter a hundred years from now will know whether those missiles were fired. They will know whether we met our challenge.

Whether they have the freedoms that we have known up until now will depend on what we do here. Will they look back with appreciation and say, "Thank God for those people in 1976 who headed off that loss of freedom? Who kept us now a hundred years later free? Who kept our world from nuclear destruction?"

And if we failed they probably won’t get to read the letter at all because it spoke of individual freedom and they won’t be allowed to talk of that or read of it.
..."

We, us, North American Patriots, must assure those folks Reagan spoke about get to read that letter!
It is up to us.
I hope we are up to the challenge.

Thank you for keeping the flame of truth alive. So much about the current crisis with Russia is the result of unfinished business of World War II. How history could and should have been changed if only Soviet Socialism and its Marxist pedigree got the same comeuppance its evil twin National Socialism got.
