71-year-old George Galloway is a seven-time elected member of British Parliament. He loves his country, and is clearly not a danger to it.

So why did the UK’s “anti-terrorism police” detain him in September? According to officials, the Counter-Terrorism and Border Security Act of 2019 warranted Galloway’s questioning to ensure he hadn’t “engaged in hostile activity.” Was there any reason to believe he’d done something wrong? No. But police went after him anyway.
