On January 3, 2026 the US Department of Justice, supported by the US military, arrested and exfiltrated Venezuelan Dictator, Nicolás Maduro, and his wife, Cilia Flores. The arrest took place in the middle of the night at the guarded compound where Maduro and his wife were sleeping.
