Denying Brett Kavanaugh the Supreme Court seat for which he is clearly qualified would have rewarded some of the most disgraceful behavior we have ever seen in the political world. Democrats not only endeavored to defame the character of a good man, but they blew up every established protocol designed to protect the various parties who might be involved in a legitimate accusation.
Then, when their story was clearly coming apart at the seams, they gleefully dispensed with every semblance of fairness and decency for the purpose of destroying this man’s reputation. These actions were detestable and beneath contempt. It was essential that their efforts not succeed, as this would have green-lighted the same tactics on anyone else they didn’t want hired, appointed, elected or confirmed.The Comment section of online publications is the new front in the ongoing Cancel Culture Battle.
