Today June 6, 2011 is The 67th Anniversary of D-Day


Posted by Jeff Carter, Points and Figures On June 6, 1944, a bunch of people engaged in an epic battle for the ages. It was the beginning of the end of World War Two in Europe; the day that the horrors of the Holocaust came one day closer to ending. We remember that date for history exams that we take in school. Fortunately for me, I get to meet people that took part in it. In my own family, I had a distant relation that was wounded coming ashore at Omaha Beach.
