Trump Admin. Sues To Block Philadelphia From Building Injection Sites For Heroin Addicts
The Trump administration has filed a lawsuit to block the construction of legal “heroin dens” in Philadelphia. The suit is claiming opening supervised injection sites for heroin addicts would fuel the city’s opioid epidemic.
The lawsuit comes after a Philadelphia non-profit said “safe injection sites” would decrease the number of heroin overdoses and curb the use of opioids in the city. -- More....
