The judgment was for $355 million in penalties against Donald J. Trump for alleged fraud (disgorgement/ill-gotten gains) that, after all of the dust settles is actually around the tune of more than $464 million. The lawsuit was brought by New York Attorney General Letitia James on behalf of the State of New York. New York Supreme Court Justice Arthur Engoron presided over the case, not allowing a jury, and ruling that all defendants were guilty and liable on all seven claims. The argument was that Trump claimed the financial condition of the Trump Empire was better than it was; a summarization that calculated the net worth of President Trump was routinely inflated which was then used to allegedly defraud banks and insurers causing them to take undue risks.

One unstated finding of the court is that the lenders were incompetent, so that they were injured in spite of being paid all that they thought to be appropriate. Once more, we have the liberal official who despises and denigrates the common American in favor of what they prefer to see and find.

I know what you wrote is true. The banks knew. The Republican leaders knew. Trump and team knew. Yet, none of them pointed any of this out or really tried to stop it. I think they ALL work for the same team and this meant to send the message to us little folks. They can do this to any of us at any time.

Unfortunately the alphabet soup msm has convinced the low information sheeple of the “standing” for this case. Plus, it all goes back to the fact that Trump was once a Democrat and switched parties which is unforgivable for them, creating the relentless TDS “orange-man-bad” narrative of which all the lawfare against him has resulted. Even if Trump had wanted a jury, the judge stated that right would’ve been denied. America is a banana republic.
