Video: NYC deli clerk miraculously survives being shot in the eye at point-blank range during armed ambush


Video shows a New York City deli clerk narrowly cheating death. A Queens bodega worker miraculously survived an attack at point-blank range by a man armed with two guns.

Surveillance footage captured the moment that an armed man dressed in black with a face mask marched into the Rockaway Express Deli in South Ozone Park. Around 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, the gunman walked right up to the counter and shot the deli worker from less than two feet away. The shooter rattled off three gunshots that caused the 47-year-old deli clerk to slump to the floor as he held his head in pain.
