Education Secretary Miguel Cardona refused on Tuesday to define a "woman" under oath at a congressional hearing.
At a House Appropriations subcommittee hearing, Rep. Andrew Clyde (R-Ga.) highlighted that Cardona's job includes enforcing Title IX, which prohibits discrimination — including on the basis of sex — in education programs that receive federal funding.
