Trump's Latest Special Prosecutor: Proves Dems, in a splendiferous, one-track-mind pathology, reveal they're convinced Trump's demise is their only way forward. The amount of Democrat energy, resources & time spent on this is surreal. A very pagan and primitive fixation.
Ancient Human Religious Murder: In the ancient world, ritual slaughter was common in such diverse cultures such as China, Egypt, and Europe, whose priests killed humans to please the gods. For example, Aztecs consecrating the Temple of Tenochtitlan sacrificed over eighty thousand, and even practiced cannibalism during this. See Two Cheers for the Conquistadors:

Modern, secular political religions slaughter babies, much like ancient Carthage. USSR Marxists tortured and killed up to 75+ million Russians, all in the name of politics. It's inevitable that farflung ancient and modern cultures all kill humans to whet an impulse deeply grounded in human nature. Now we can add Donald Trump to the list of political ritual torture, whom Democrats consider a devil whom to be repeatedly shamed & abused before total elimination.
Modern leftism is religious in spirit, a socialist political non-Christian cult. So, Democrats no longer pretend to be essentially Christian, although many still claim Protestant or Catholic identity. For example, both Pelosi and Biden state doctrinaire Catholicism while strenuously battling for baby killing, anathema to Rome.
Old Dem Party Dead and Buried: Consider recent suggestive articles on changing American political parties: Is Politics the New Religion? "Liberals and ‘nones' went left; conservatives and Evangelicals went right. There's no middle anymore. Atheists are now the most politically active group in the U.S. Far from the largest, at 6% of population, but statistically, most likely to engage in political activity. Our politics has become a religion with a religious fervor to it now that it didn't have even 20 or 30 years ago."
Also, How politics has replaced religion in America: "America has always been more religiously devout than other Western democracies. But now, like them, it has begun to secularize rapidly. And, as religion has declined, political ideology has intensified, society has fragmented, and cultural common ground has disintegrated. Marxism a Pagan Religious Cult: So, in modern America, as traditional religion ebbs, political religion takes its place, neo-paganism. Deep Cult: Regarding American leftism, Actress Rose McGowan stated "I do believe Democrats most especially are in a deep cult they really don't know about and aren't really aware of. Democrats are against changing the world for the better, they're for keeping a system in place that is for so few people and benefits so few that they masquerade as the helpers."
Neo-Paganism: Bearing in mind that when Christianity flees, it's ancient paganism that returns. As true faith ebbs, other belief systems fill the void. See, The Rise of Modern Paganism:

Targeting Trump: Once the traditional Democratic Party morphed into a political religion, it had the essential default of all pseudo-religious zealotry: creeds, heresies and punishment of critics. Democrats have the outline of a Puritan sect, with a litany of do's and don'ts, including Global Warming, Gender/Sex/Trans teachings and anti-Capitalism worldview. Donald Trump is judged by these cultic standards by those who allow no rules to stop their jihad.
Leftist Democrats at War: The Democratic Party approached Donald Trump as a war target since before he entered office, while propagandizing him. See, Demonizing the Enemy a Hallmark of War: "The secret in propaganda is that when you demonize, you dehumanize."
Demonization: "This form of propaganda dehumanizes the opposition and presents them as monstrous. Depicting the enemy as an evil, destructive aggressor can instigate hatred and make it easier to rationalize harming or killing them, particularly during times of war. This device reduces any complexity about the enemy's motives to one simple factor – the enemy is purely evil."
Politics as Propaganda: The relentless attack on Trump on countless levels, by numberless groups & individuals represented the most heartfelt pageant of hate witnessed by most Americans. This naturalized hating of Trump on a visceral level, a demonization. Sanctified hatred.
Sacrifice as Essential in Religion: All ancient pagan religions needed sacrifice. And so the modern Democrat political religion taps into this need. The Bible gives the scapegoat story where Israel takes a goat every year, puts all the sin upon it, and releases it to wander in the wilderness to die. See Leviticus 16: The Scapegoat Ritual.
Aaron shall take the two he-goats and let them stand before the LORD at the entrance of the Tent of Meeting; & he shall place lots upon the two goats, one marked for the LORD & the other marked for Azazel. Aaron shall bring forward the goat designated by lot for the LORD, which he is to offer as a sin offering; while the goat designated by lot for Azazel shall be left standing alive before the LORD, to make expiation with it & to send it off to the wilderness for Azazel.
‘Politics as Religion' Demands Sacrifice: Christianity established as mankind's sins, humans require forgiveness, offered by the God-Man Jesus shedding blood on a crucifix. The notion humans are wrong-doers who need expiation, or payment for misdeeds is ancient. All ancient pagan societies used a sacrificial religious matrix to appease their gods, typically in a contractual manner, as all Roman religion was based. Consider "Marxism "Begins with Theft and Ends with Murder" --
Marxism is by definition totalitarian and genocidal by motive, design, practice, and result. The political goal of communism is to annihilate freedom in all realms of life, economic, social, and intellectual. By philosophical design, Marxism in power must always use force to achieve its ends. . . .
The Marxist moral ideal necessarily leads to censorship, secret police, reeducation camps, gulags, and genocide in practice. Its violent and bloody history is evident for all to see. . . . Marxism's moral ideal is evil, absolutely evil. . . .Marxism is the philosophy of malevolence and hate. It is from beginning to end a criminal activity. It begins with theft and it ends with murder.
Once, Christianity gave humans clearly outlined beliefs and rules to dispense sin regarding human conflict, and violence, encouraging confession and forgiveness. This taught violent sacrifice is necessary to spill blood to appease God, by His own Son's death. But today, where many Americans are agnostics, and atheists, there's no longer a widely accepted manner to practice peaceful politics.
Blood atonement is still needed, but no longer officially taught. Instead, permanently aggrieved leftists, without believing in God, sin, heaven or hell, feel a profound need to punish enemies and erect a socialist heaven on earth. Because we have no afterlife, this means no justice exists outside earth.
Trump Jihad: This has become Trump's fate in the minds of socialists. Talmons' Totalitarian Democracy reveals Democrat's approach to absolutism. They demand Donald under continual investigation & indictment. Despite this, many "facts" used against Trump are now exposed as lies. Could Trump be a kind of secular John Brown, of similar spirit, battling for America's soul? Keep Donald and America in your prayers.
