Elon Musk's purchase of Twitter

Elon Musk Assumes Biblical Role of 'Kinsman Redeemer', Protecting Rights of All Americans

Irrepressible Musk: In the astonishing development of Elon Musk's purchase of Twitter, we've discovered interesting characteristics regarding the redoubtable Elon.

  1. Not all billionaires are perverse tyrants.
  2. The World's richest man esteems goals beyond wealth.
  3. Musk notes the massive collapse of American freedoms, and its ominous threat to US & global liberty.
  4. Musk believes US far leftism is diabolically dangerous.

Kinsman Redeemer: While Musk may not be a Bible believer, he's yet fulfilling the role of Kinsman Redeemer, where God calls a man of means to intercede for his people. This figure, in the person of Jewish Boaz, is the key plot element in the Book of Ruth. It's defined in Baker's Bible Dictionary: "Male relative who, according to various laws found in the Pentateuch, had the privilege or responsibility to act for a relative who was in trouble, danger, or need of vindication."

See Leviticus 25:25-28 "If a fellow countryman of yours becomes so poor he has to sell part of his property, then his nearest kinsman is to come and buy back what his relative has sold. Or in case a man has no kinsman, but so recovers his means as to find sufficient for its redemption, then he shall calculate the years since its sale and refund the balance to the man to whom he sold it, and so return to his property. But if he has not found sufficient means to get it back for himself, then what he has sold shall remain in the hands of its purchaser until the year of jubilee; but at the jubilee it shall revert, that he may return to his property."

El Goel: The Hebrew word is Goel ( גואל, lit. "redeemer"):

The word "goel" is defined in Strong's Hebrew Lexicon as kinsman. However, in ancient Jewish life, the term took on significant additional meaning. The Jewish Encyclopedia states goel "was based on the solidarity of the interests" of the individual tribes of the nation of Israel and God. "Any duty which a man could not perform by himself had to be taken up by his next of kin" (goel). The object, to preserve the Promised Land by form and boundaries set by God among the tribes of Israel, and to protect God's chosen people from abuse within and among the tribes. The Jewish concept of goel included significant duties and obligations.

Three Reasons for KR: There were three reasons a man was called to be a Kinsman Redeemer, for his people, according to Ian Macdonald's The Gospel According to Ruth. 1. To cover the blood of his relatives; 2. liberty of his relative; & 3. property of his relative. If land was forfeit and lost due to poverty, the kinsman must try to redeem it until the Year of Jubilee, every fiftieth year in Israel. Then, all land was restored to the original owner.

Kinsman as Savior: The Kinsman Redeemer was a savior of his people. Musk is now a principled capitalist savior for the American people's rights. Musk is a romantic, stating he wasn't buying Twitter for gain, but to defend republicanism as democracy demands open debate, in Twitter, our national public square. Musk is a free speech absolutist, visiting shows and podcasts with his casual demeanor, the very antonym of his manic labors.

Romantic: Musk exposes a romantic streak while jousting socialist foes like a knight battling fire-breathing dragons who dine on peasants. He brandishes a rapier wit while torching AOC and other simpering leftists. There's a romantic spirit when he states he must "be in love" to function.

Musk Lessons: 1st, Conservatives must boldly stand for ideals and beliefs. 2nd, Christians should seek wealth to be in the influence game. 3rd , Let's battle for societal virtue, for if we don't, we'll end up in the moral quagmire we deserve. 4th, Let's resist evil, as only Christians understand the eternal stakes. Revelations 12:9 says, "Love sincerely. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good." Finally, don't lose heart, but always pray, knowing God can always deliver a miracle at a moment's notice, and often has.
