News—the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly

The Good News

In my mind this statement by Patrick Henry is the most profound statement by any of the Founding Fathers. To my way of thinking, it may even be the most profound observation since Christ died on the cross.

Know God and know liberty. No God and know tyranny

Western civilization and the constitutional republic known as the United States of America were formed on the foundational bedrock now known as Judeo-Christian principles and values. Most of these values, the Ten Commandments, even predate the time that Christ walked the earth. Jewish history is Christian history and also western civilization’s history.

America was the first government on the planet to base its form of government acknowledging that human rights have been bestowed upon man by God, not by man in any form. Because of this, God blessed America and Americans have prospered. In return, America has honored God, due to our Judeo-Christian principles, and blessed the world by being the most giving of her blood and treasure to save western civilization and many others around the world on multiple occasions. That is American exceptionalism.

American capitalism and our free enterprise system have lifted more people out of poverty in America and around the world than any government system devised by mankind. Americans classified as in poverty are rich by the standards of more than half the world. That is just one more example of American exceptionalism.

The Bad News

At least two generations of Americans who are victims of the American public school indoctrination system have no idea about the history of communism/socialism because they were born after the fall of communism behind the Iron Curtain in 1991. They have no understanding about how floods of people flowed over the old wall from socialist/communist countries to the freedoms of western civilization. These illiterates don’t know that nobody from the west tried to “escape” from liberty toward communism.

Yet here we are in 2026, and nearly half of Americans polled (43%) have a favorable view of socialism. However, in the same poll, 60% of those polled were against communism. These generations are obviously not aware of how many hundreds of millions of people have been murdered under socialist and communist regimes in the last 100 years. They are also not aware that these murders continue even today in Communist China.

The communist wolf is hiding in the sheep’s clothing called the Democratic Socialists of American and in the Democrat Party’s “Big Tent.” In short, socialism and communism are an evil product of man’s desire to totally control other men and is an existential threat to the existence of the constitutional republic known as the United States of America.

Islamists are still murdering Americans and Christians all over the world, especially in Africa

Dr. Rafizadeh has clearly defined how Islam and the Islamists are not only an existential threat to America, but to western civilization as well. The Islamists trying to inject themselves into the United States Congress and those already well established are enemies of the state known as America. These people are not and will not serve their constituents, they favor Islamic goals and have no business even being in Congress. They are really 7th century barbaric rabid wolves in sheep’s clothing who are here to conquer America, nothing more and nothing less.

Islamists are still murdering Americans and Christians all over the world, especially in Africa, as I write this. Islam and Islamists are the antithesis of the United States Constitution and the Judeo-Christian beliefs of western civilization. Their history of brutal actions against non-Muslims, in and of itself, is reason to remove them from our society.

As polling demonstrates, Americans are anything but clear-eyed when 60% of those polled have a positive view of the Muslim religion. Americans are not paying attention to how Muslims are behaving in Europe and that they are preparing to do the same in the United States. So too, are the Islamist an existential threat to traditional America and like the socialists, are included in the “Big Tent” of the Democrat Party.

The last bad news issue I will address is corruption in government. My particular concern is the ruling class of lifetime, professional career politicians. These would be the politicians who spend more than two terms in office. These are the people who have created the more than 40 trillion dollars of America’s national debt and their counterparts all over the western world.

Now America has an even worse problem of corruption

I have no doubt that the vast majority of politicians in western civilization are corrupt. As noted by President Washington, few men or women have the ethics and virtue to withstand the human foibles of greed, self-interest, and the highest bidder. With the corruption that has, so far, been unearthed since the beginning of President Trump’s second term, corruption is wildly out of control, and we probably don’t even know the half of it yet.

In the United States of America, the solution is extremely easy, yet so very hard to implement. That solution: Never, ever, ever (that’s an absolute) re-elect an incumbent or anyone who has served in elective office before. However, the one exception I might make is for the President, if he or she, has proven valuable government experience. On the other hand, Donald Trump proves that government experience isn’t always necessary.

In America, career politicians from the Silent Generation (that is the generation before Baby Boomers) and the Baby Boomer Generation have become unusually rich while serving in their elected government positions. How is that possible? Reread the Truman quote above. These corrupt politicians will never, ever, ever (another absolute) take any action that would hamper their “good ol’ boy” get rich scheme. Likewise, a Constitutional Convention, if it were to ever happen, would never fix what’s broke because the “politicians” necessary to create such a convention are aspiring to join that federal level get rich club.

Does that make me a cynic? I don’t think it makes me anything other than a realist. As evidence, I offer this: Since I became of voting age (1967), thousands of well-intended rookie politicians have promised to end corruption in Washington D.C. In 2026, corruption in the United States Congress is as bad as it has ever been. As much corruption as is being exposed in Executive Branch operations and failed oversight, nothing is being done about congressional and congressional staff corruption.

Now America has an even worse problem of corruption. That is the failing court system. When the judges became ideologues, the judicial system is doomed to failure. When Lady Justice had her blindfold removed, it was all over. When biased judges replace the laws of the land with their ideological biases, it is no longer law; it’s politics. Politics has no place in a fair and impartial legal proceeding.

The Ugly News

The attitude and ideology of the Muslims have not changed one iota since 1786. Any culture other than the Muslim culture is lawful prey for “the faithful.” Any expectation of western civilization to successfully negotiate any kind of deal that will be respected by Islamists is a fool’s errand. The things the Trump administration is unable to wrap its head around is that for Islamists, negotiation, compromise, and delay are weaknesses to be exploited and a win for themselves. If America and western civilization keeps playing by our rules and standards, we will ultimately lose to Islam. For five decades, Islamists have been chanting “Death to America,” the Big Satan and “Death to Israel,” the Little Satan.” Why do we not believe them? How have we twisted reality so badly that we cannot accept that Islam is our mortal enemy? As I write this, Islamists are literally killing Christians somewhere in the world.

If western civilization is to survive long term, radical Islamists must be, I REPEAT, must be removed from western governed countries. If Martial Law needs to be invoked to make this happen, so be it. Islam is and always has been absolutely incompatible with western civilization. They know this, which is why the destruction of western culture is their stated goal. We must believe them and remove them from our midst. Failure to do so is at our own peril as a culture.

The other existential threat to America, second only to Islam, is the Democrat Party. Too many uninformed Americans view the Democrat Party as the party of their fathers and mothers. Sadly, the party of loyal opposition to the Republican Party died an unobserved death when Barack Hussein Obama was installed as President of the United States in 2009. More than 225 years of America’s social progress was set back several decades when Obama poked his nose into places it had no business. This was when communism started climbing out of the old Democrat Party closet disguised as socialism. The Democrat Party further degenerated when Obama’s “third term” started in 2021, disguised as the Biden administration.

Here we are in 2026, and now the Big Tent of the Democrat Parry has unabashedly been turned over to the Democratic Socialists of America and their Islamists allies. These entities have a stated goal of tearing down the United States Constitution by doing away with the Senate, the United States Supreme Court, and the Presidency. Included in this destruction is the American Bill of Rights that has for over 200 years protected American citizens against an out-of-control government.

November 3, 2026, represents a turning point. Will the communists and Islamist gain a greater foothold in the United States Congress? Or will patriotic Americans show up at the polls and beat back the existential threat posed by evils of communism and Islamism? No matter how the election goes, as my dad used to say “we will have the government we deserve” on January 3, 2027.
