So when these feckless politicians promise you “something for nothing”, close your ears and eyes and remember that for every promise there is a price to pay, and most likely a loss of your freedom.

For Every Promise – There is a Price to Pay

For Every Promise – There is a Price to PayIf you listen to the Democrat candidates for president, you'd think that the United States treasury has an unlimited amount of cash to pay for all the promises (a/k/a goodies) they are making to garner the votes of a naive electorate. Free this, free that, is the main promises that these “pretenders to the throne” are using as to why they should be elected as your next president.
What are they promising, let's take a look:
  • free college
  • pay off a student's debt
  • Medicare for all
  • a government mandated $15 minimum wage
  • canceling the Trump tax cuts and reform
  • raising the tax rate on wealthy people to 70%
  • a Green “New Deal”
  • doing away with all fossil fuels in 12 years
  • open borders for anyone who wants entry in the U.S.A.
  • free healthcare for all illegal aliens & on and on.
  • All the Democrat candidates say they aren't socialists (except Bernie Sanders), but their inane proposals say just the opposite. A very cogent definition of socialism shows the duplicity of these “presidential wannabes”. The definition goes as follows: “Socialism requires the intervention and control of the marketplace by an overwhelmingly powerful central government. It penalizes high achievers, rewards laziness, and stifles choice”. In addition, that great leader and statesman, Sir Winston Churchill chimed in with his definition, it went like this: “Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of envy, its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery”. So all those Democrat candidates can deny and pontificate that they aren't socialists, but their words and actions show them for who they really are - socialists or pseudo-socialists. Think for a minute, how many people are pining to get into socialist countries like Venezuela, Cuba, Nicaragua, China, and most of the countries in Africa and the Muslim Middle East? We, the U.S.A., is the country most people of the world are wanting to emigrate to - and we are an “evil” capitalist country where freedom reigns and where the individual can achieve whatever he/she wants to be. Look at the successes of the various immigrant groups like the Koreans, the Vietnamese, the Cubans, the Indians etc, most of whom have had a great success in our country and have become outstanding citizens. When politicians promise everyone a “free lunch”, you know that they are lying. When you take the incentive out of life, you get a lazy population looking for a handout from the government and a loss of their individual freedoms. A government should be an entity to give people a “hand up” and not a “handout”. So when these feckless politicians promise you “something for nothing”, close your ears and eyes and remember that for every promise there is a price to pay, and most likely a loss of your freedom.
