CALGARY, AB: The Canadian Taxpayers Federation is pleased to announce the appointment of Franco Terrazzano as its new Federal Director. “Franco is smart, articulate and, most importantly, absolutely dedicated to standing up for taxpayers,” said Todd MacKay, the CTF’s Vice President of Communications. “During his time as Alberta Director, he made politicians feel the heat when they wasted taxpayers’ money and we’re confident he’ll do the same thing in Ottawa.”
Franco is replacing Aaron Wudrick, who held the Federal Director position since 2014. Franco has been the CTF’s Alberta Director since 2018 and will be making his way to Ottawa this summer. Franco will temporarily serve as both the Federal and Alberta Director. Prior to joining the CTF, Franco was an Economic Policy Analyst with the Calgary Chamber of Commerce and the Canadian Constitution Foundation. Franco has a bachelor’s degree in economics and a Master of Public Policy degree from the University of Calgary. “We’ve got a lot of work to do to push the feds to get serious about addressing its $1-trillion debt tab and rein in spending,” said Terrazzano. “Canadians can’t afford higher taxes and we’re going to make sure politicians get that message.”
