A Black History Month 2026 Message To White Conservatives

The purpose of this post is to share a brief message with you in honor of Black History Month, an occasion refused and reviled by many in your number.

I'll attempt to transform refusal and revulsion into recognition of similar interests. I understand this is unfamiliar territory, but here goes.

We have a common opponent whom beloved ancestor Malcolm X warned about decades ago:

Nor is this clip intended to draw a false equivalency that the Minister was a fan of conservatives—he wasn't. He considered you to be proverbial wolves in the political forest who at least growled to make your intentions known regarding Black people.

My intention is to suggest, in this long-awaited period of Black independence challenging single-partisanship, that the right and 'non left' of which I'm a part, should address similar issues to, pun definitely intended, 'out-fox' our sly fox of an opponent.

I've written at length about conspicuous Black absence at anti-ICE protests. Much keyboard time has also been spent warning about the leftist need for 'aggressive Black foot soldiers' to confront Department of Homeland Security (DHS) personnel too. It's hoped a new 'George Floyd' catalyst will happen at the hands of ICE to save a Democratic establishment getting the cold shoulder from my community.

White conservative and Black nationalist influencers could be guests on each other's platforms to boost consensus views on opposing mass migration going into the upcoming election cycle.

Another topic of similar interest is the Second Amendment, especially carrying firearms at protests or hosting open carry demonstrations. Oddly enough, such outreach is predominantly done by Black nationalists and White conservatives.

The left notably departed from entrenched opposition to armed protesters when one of their own was disarmed, shot and killed in a Minneapolis altercation with DHS personnel, which is the subject of a federal civil rights investigation.

It also united gun control adversaries to denounce Trump administration officials from the president on down who said this second Minneapolis subject of an officer-involved shooting shouldn't have been armed while protesting.

Quite a reversal on stated policy position and quite a pivot to play on sentiments of pro-Second Amendment voters.

I don't know long this moment of leftist support for concealed carry and more incredibly, militia formation will last. It additionally presents a rare opportunity for two diametrically opposed open carry constituencies to block progressives' eventual return to gun control policies negatively impacting Black nationalists and White conservatives who rally with rifles and holstered pistols.

It's common knowledge that Black nationalists and White conservatives don't like each other. No newsflash there.

Regardless of hard feelings, both groups still find themselves in this rare midterm moment where denying Democrats control of the Congress would be extremely mutually beneficial.

Stopping mass migration and securing gun rights is something both groups agree on.

Guys, I don't expect White conservatives to fall in love with Minister Farrakhan any time soon, nor Black nationalists to suddenly embrace Ronald Reagan.

Couldn't help but chuckle at the thought. Back to the message.

Pragmatically, we're better served using this season's midterm moment to stop a common opponent than wasting it bickering over irreconcilable differences.

A related similar issue suggestion is having county and state GOP committees and activists start reaching out to Black-owned companies to do business with them and engage civic associations, not for recruiting purposes, but to build relationships.

Leftists appear at Black civic associations and spend money with our entrepreneurs. While this is often dismissed as 'pandering' by the right, it still entrenches a decided advantage.

People support platform items from outgoing entitles who show up in their spaces. It's retail politics. No phony accents needed, ala' Hillary Clinton.

In my realm of safety, I suggested to a local Republican Executive Committee member that they hold press conferences or donate to CrimeStoppers after Black children or other community members are murdered.

It's a new take on the conservative saying that 'all lives matter'. Notably, on the subject of acknowledging Black crime victims, the other side of the aisle is mute.

Democratic party committees and elected officials pretend crime doesn't exist in their jurisdictions. A GOP tradition of comforting grieving families outside of their usual demographic can make real inroads. Grassroots urban citizens are tired of being human targets.

I continually remind right wing folks that 'violent traitors' as I call them don't just destroy my proverbial side of town. Suburbs and gated communities who vote Republican 'red' get targeted, too. Urban areas are only the beachhead for leftist ‘anti-safety' theory.

Destabilizing where distant members of the status quo live is their ultimate goal.

That concludes my Black History Month 2026 message to White conservatives.

We don't have to like each other in order to agree about disliking the Democratic platform even more.
