Troubling…..Well, Maybe

After gathering the data I needed for my AFP/CFP article “It Is Really This Simple,” some of the data I found troubling. Since the 2016 presidential election, further validated in 2020, and 2024, I have major concerns about the accuracy of all polling. Whether my doubts are fully justified, who knows?

Apparently, people are ignorant and don’t understand why the Founding Fathers made freedom of speech the first right in the Bill of Rights

Of the 28 issues I identified in my article for assessing one’s position on major issues facing America, there were some surprises that, if correct, should be troubling for American patriots who wish to see traditional America advanced in the future.

For example, regarding whether or not America is a Christian nation, the report I used indicated that 60% of the respondents thought the Founding Fathers established and intended for America to be a Christian nation. However, only 45% of those people thought America was a Christian nation.

Then there is people’s attitude toward Islam. The data I found indicated that 60% of Americans view Muslims in a positive light. It would seem that the sheep’s clothing on that rabid 7th century barbaric wolf is working well.

Then there is the issue of free speech. I was shocked to my very core to see data that indicates that 53% of Americans think free speech should be limited. Oh my God! Apparently, people are ignorant and don’t understand why the Founding Fathers made freedom of speech the first right in the Bill of Rights.

Another issue that mildly surprised me was the public’s attitude toward socialism and communism. While 68% of respondents didn’t like communism, 43% of respondents have a favorable view of socialism. Here too, it would seem that the sheep’s clothing called socialism is working quite nicely for the murderous wolf that is communism.

On the positive side, from my perspective the Democrats et al remain on the wrong side of these major issues:

• 93% of Americans are against abortion up until birth;
• 73% of Americans support gun rights;
• 77% of Americans support restricted legal immigration;
• 78% support deportation of criminal illegal aliens;
• 56% support deportation of all illegal aliens;
• 59% support law enforcement (including ICE);
• 81% support lower taxes;
• 66% believe there are only 2 human sexes;
• 80% support the military and Department of War;
• 83% support parental rights over state’s rights;
• 75% of parents and 67% of the public support school vouchers
• 73% want government accountability;
• 89% support limited government spending;
• 83% support voter identification.

Democrats, socialist, and Islamists want none of those things.

It probably goes without saying, I have fodder for several future articles before America votes on November 3, 2026.
